Note: Rows in italic shows data not taken into account when performing the assessments (marginal presence, occasional, extinct prior HD, information, optional reports, etc). For Cladonia subgenus Cladina, Lycopodium and Sphagnum, Member States were asked to report on the group rather than individual species, some also reported for individual species and these are shown in italics (e.g. Sweden also reported Lycopodium zeilleri in the Boreal region).

The delayed delivery by Spain did not allow the Spanish report to be used for the EU conservation status assessment. Where possible, Spanish data from the period 2013-2019 were used for the EU assessments of 2019-2024. You can see a relevant technical note here.

Numerical information presented in the web tool is rounded to two decimals for easier presentation in the tool. This means that very small numbers are presented as 0. The tool cannot differentiate rounded 0 from reported 0. At the moment all cases are shown as NA, we are working on fixing the issue and show 0 instead of NA where relevant.
